Coalition for Community Schools — Impact

Community Schools; An evidence-based equity strategy that works!

Great strides have been made by Community School initiatives across the nation in their efforts to improve student learning, stronger families and healthier communities. Community Schools work in partnership with their students, families and communities to set specific goals tailored to their local context. Many see a positive impact in attendance, school climate and culture, family and community engagement, academic achievement, graduation rates and college readiness.
